Bid on a Fire Pit, It's for a GREAT Cause!

Celebrity waiters, and, yes, that blurry thing in the back is Grayson[/caption]

On Wednesday, April 18, Grayson and Tay proudly represented Black Dog Salvage at the fourth annual Celebrity Tip Off. The event featured celebrity waiters from across the Roanoke Valley competing for tips to benefit Family Service of Roanoke Valley. Seats at the various waiters’ tables were available for purchase, and people were able to “tip” the waiters online with all proceeds going to Family Service of Roanoke Valley. Both Dawgs competed valiantly in the highly competitive field and together raised more than $3,500!
In addition to Grayson and Tay serving as waiters, we donated one of our cast iron fire pits and the accompanying stand for auction at the event. Mike and JoAnne, a wonderful couple who flew in all the way from California to sit at one of Grayson’s tables, won the auction, and, in an act of true generosity, donated the items back to be re-auctioned to raise even more money!

We are now re-auctioning these items through our eBay store, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Family Service of Roanoke Valley. This is one of our original Black Dog Salvage custom fire pits, and it includes the cast iron cauldron modeled after Georgia syrup kettles of the 19th century and the accompanying steel stand designed and fabricated in our on-site metal shop. And, if you’re in the Roanoke area, Ace Moving and Storage has donated FREE shipping within a 30-mile radius of Roanoke, Virginia.
The auction ends at NOON (ET) on Sunday, 4/29, so HURRY and place your bid now!
